Great demand for study places in the library

We ask everyone who uses the library to help us make the best possible use of the study places we have available.

The library is visited by more and more students and staff at UiS. We are of course happy about this, but it also leads to some practical challenges. There are a limited number of study places in the library, and we want to make the best possible use of the places we have available. To succeed in this it is important that the library's users show some consideration for each other. We will especially ask you to leave the table you are sitting at to someone else if you leave the library for more than one hour.

If all the study places in the library are taken the closest reading room is C-160, right by INVIVO. There are also reading rooms and group rooms in most buildings at campus.
