Pågående forskning

Njå has been the project leader of two research projects on Accident investigation and learning effects, initiated in 2007 and finalized in 2011. The projects included 3 PhD-students and it consisted of a consortium involving three research institutes/universities and two professional accident investigation agencies. The work is being followed up by a project containing a comparative study in a Norwegian and a Polish refinery.

Leader of the planning and execution of Ph.D projects on risk management and societal safety of which four projects in process.

Leader of a four year study on risk management in local, regional and national governments (Ministry of Justice/Directorate of emergency planning and civil protection)

Frame agreement on R&D projects with the Norwegian Public Roads Authorities.
