Additional information

Dr Åsa Grahn holds a PhD in tourism from the University of Otago, New Zealand where the focus of the study was on tourists long term benefits of cultural educational tours. Åsa holds a position as an associate professor with responsibilities for teaching different tourism courses at the institute as well as coordinating the bachelor program in tourism. Her current research interests are focused on several areas: sustainable and responsible tourism, memorable tourism experiences as well as tourism impacts. Grahn is part of both the hospitality research group and the tourism management research group at UiS.

During the academic year 2017/2018 Dr. Grahn will be on sabbatical leave.
