Summary

Forskningsområder

Main research area: Marine microbial ecology.
Studied marine hydrocarbon degrading bacteria during PhD research. Since 2014, involved in projects from the area of environmental toxicology (iNEXT- The Next Generation of Molecular Markers; Porject leader: Senior scientist Dr. Daniela M. Pampanin). As a consequence, became interested in the connection between the two fields and began studying the gut bacteria of fish (Atlantic cod).
Currently leading a small innovation project "BioCleanR - a targeted bioremediation approach" funded by the Projecy Plogen frame, together with project partner: Researcher Dr. Clemens Furnes, CORE.
