Pågående forskning

Currently a member of Professional teachers network - working to support teachers professional development through the use of lesson study 

A member of the former TasS research  group: A cross curricula group working to support student and practice teachers important work in schools. 

This research is funded by the Norwegian research council under the Prakut programme.

Currently the focus has been on student feedback on the use of Lesson study as a tooI in student teacher practice situations.

Arbeidserfaring


Currently acting as coordinator between Stavanger and Leicester universities Lesson study group. Also acting as advisor for the implementation of Lesson study at Karlstad university, Sweden and the catholic university in Valencia, Spain

A former member of the Teachers as Students research project funded by the Norwegian research council. (2012-2015) The aim of this project was to research the use of Lesson study within an initial teacher education framework, especially the practice field. Currently the focus has been on student feedback on the use of Lesson study as a tooI in student teacher practice situations.


2011 ? 2012 A member of the pilot project in Bømlo commune funded by the Norwegian department of education?s programme ?Better learning environments?. Here Lesson study was used as a tool for continuing professional development.

Planning and implementation of  both preservice and in service courses for English teaching.
