After 40 years abroad Håkon Austbø is back in Norway and continues his intense activity of concerts throughout the world, numerous recordings, all that in addition to his position as a professor at the University of Stavanger.

Håkon Austbø
Håkon Austbø studied in Paris, New York, Munich and London after his first public concert 15 years old in Oslo. He has won several international competitions, including the Messiaen competition for contemporary music in Royan, France, in 1971.
