He won the "Shell prize" in 1987 and have participated in ICMF ( Stavanger international chambermusic festival.)
As a member of Stavanger contemporary music ensemble Vestly has taken part in several premiere performances.
He has on many occasions been soloist with Stavanger Symphony Orrchestra (SSO) and has participated on several cd-recordings with the SSO, but he also works as chambermusician.
Håkon Vestly
Håkon Vestly has been Principal clarinetist in the Stavanger Symphony Orrchestra since 1977 and is also teaching at the University of Stavanger.
