She has also made TV and radio recordings for broadcasting companies in Finland and Japan. In 2001 she started a piano-duo with Gisela Herb.
At the moment Naoko Shibayama-Aarnio is teaching at the Helsinki Conservatory, Sibelius-Academy and Helsinki Polytechnic Stadia.

The pianist Naoko Shibayama-Aarnio received her doctoral degree from Sibelius-Academy in 2000. She has played recitals and performed as a soloist and chamber musician in Finland, other European countries and Japan.
