She is the vice-president of EPTA-Norway and has an international career as a soloist, chamber musician and accompanist.
In 2001 Herb started a piano duo together with Naoko Shibayama Aarnio. Her CD- recordings with piano music by A. Ginastera and H. Villa-Lobos have been critically acclaimed.
