Ingrid Kappelle is a prize-winner in several international competitions.
She has sung main parts in La Forza del Destino, La Traviata, Othello, Giovanna d’Arco, Aida, Faust, Die Fledermaus and Idomeneo. Frequently Ingrid Kappelle is invited internationally for her unique interpretations of 20th century vocal music. With Messiaen specialist Håkon Austbø she recorded all songs by Messiaen ( Brilliant Classics).

Ingrid Kappelle
The Dutch soprano Ingrid Kappelle started her professional vocal training in 1982, with professor Mya Besselink at the Maastricht Conservatory of Music. There she received, next to her completed piano studies, her Masters Degree in Opera, Concert en Chamber music, all with distinction.
