The Stavanger Region and our Social Programme

There are several social events related to the Stavanger Innovation Summit. They are not to be missed! Please view the map below for locations, dates and times.

On Sunday, 14 June, participants will be welcomed by the Mayor of Stavanger at the Norwegian Petroleum Museum with a welcome drink and canapés. This will be a great way to meet and mingle with other conference participants.

Monday, June 15 will find us cruising in the fjords around Stavanger, on a journey to the island of Flor og Fjære. Here we will tour the palm-tree gardens of Norway, followed by dinner and refreshments.

Please note that if you bring your spouse to Stavanger, be sure to register him or her for both of these parts of the Summit's programme at the same time you register for the Summit.

More about Stavanger:

We would very much encourage participants to arrive a few days early in order to enjoy the sights and sounds of the beautiful Stavanger region. During June, Stavanger boasts long summer hours, oftentimes dry, warm weather (although never guaranteed!) and easy access to spectacular outdoor pursuits. Whether you explore the tourist sights in the city, or hike to the Pulpit Rock, “Preikestolen” for jaw-dropping views of the Lysefjord, spending the weekend here before the Summit gets underway will make your trip that much more special.
