The Faculty of Health Sciences at UiS organized the course “Simulation-based learning in nursing education” from April 17th to April 21th, where nursing students from Lithuania, Finland, Sweden, Denmark and Norway participated.
"UiS was the only University which offered Master of prehospital critical care. Also as a matter of fact, Stavanger has a nice weather as well as a nice beach" says Mona Rafiei.

Emilie had a steep learning curve both academically and linguistically during her Erasmus+ Traineeship in England and plans to work abroad after completing her paramedicine degree back home at the University of Stavanger.
PhD candidates in the Social Sciences and neighbouring fields are invited to participate.
We offer Norwegian language courses and social science course for adults with a background of higher education. Our courses are intensive and have a fast progression. Spring courses will be open for registration in mid October, starting end of January. Fall courses will be open for registration in mid april, starting end of August.

Comparative Educational Studies is a spring semester course offered to international students. The target group is kindergarten and primary school teachers. The main focus is working with children 1-10 years old. The course consists of several modules and also Comenius International Week, as well as internships in school or kindergarten.
After completing the master's degree in Prehospital Critical Care, Mona Guterud became Norway's first ambulance worker to combine clinical work with a doctoral fellowship.
