The German pianist Daniel Röhm studied at the Musikhochschule Lübeck with Konrad Elser, and made his concert exam at the Musikhochschule München in the master class of Gerhard Oppitz.
His international concert activities includes solistical performances with well-known orchestras such as the „Staatskapelle Weimar“ and the WKO Heilbronn, as well as chamber music with outstanding musicians like Daniel Müller-Schott and many more. His debut-recording (label Genuin) with late sonatas by Schubert won the "Supersonic award“.
Before becoming a piano Professor at the University of Stavanger, he had principal piano classes at the Musikhochschule Weimar and in South Korea. Several master classes in outstanding Universities like Yonsei (Seoul) testify his agile artistic activities.
