Timothy Miller

Timothy Miller, born in England in 1957, graduated from the Colchester Insitute with a distiction in Harmony, Orchestration and Analysis. As a pianist, Miller won three open scholarships for a post graduate diploma course at the Royal Academy of Music, London.  A Masters' degree in Music Analysis followed at King's College, University of London. In 1990 Miller moved to Norway, first as an organist and later as lecturer in Music at Høgskulen in Stavanger, now Stavanger University, where he is now a sub-professor teachning harmony, Aural, Analysis and Choral Conducting. Miller has composed much church music, organ music, orchestral music and other vocal and instrumental music and was, from 2013-2015  acting cathedralorganist in Stavanger cathedral.
