One of these feminist theorists is Sandra Harding. As a philosopher and a feminist standpoint theoretician Harding has put forward scientific issues that are relevant. The political scientist and feminist theoretician Nancy Hartsock is another one. During the last 40 last she has contributed to the development of both feminism and Marxism. Hartsock has developed the issue of feminist historical materialism. Hartsock`s analysis of the present state of global capitalism as a gendered process is important. As part of her own project Myking has made an interview with Hartsock. Norsk Filosofisk Tidskrift has published an article based on this interview entiteled: As We Reoccupy Marxism as feminism(s) (Myking 2007).
Myking is now concentrating on Rosa Luxemburg and her development of Marxism. Luxemburg analysis of capitalism and it`s internal and external logic is both a critique of Marx and a contribution to Marxism. For those of us who are interested in the present state of capitalisms, Luxemburg is important. It is her view that Rosa Luxemburg is underestimated for her theoretical contribution to the analysis of capitalism. Luxemburg is also underestimated in issues relevant for the development of democracy in general. In her present study, Myking is concentrating on the Marxian theoretician George Lukács and his critique of Luxemburg. An article will be published in 2008.
