Hommage à Olivier Messiaen (1908-1992)

The Festival is a homage to the great French composer Olivier Messiaen. The pianist Håkon Austbø, Professor at the University of Stavanger, internationally acclaimed for his interpretations of Messiaen’s music, will lead an international group of musicians and lecturers in a program covering concerts, master classes, lectures and discussions. The Festival is open to musicians, students, teachers and anyone interested in a new approach to the music of Olivier Messiaen. Welcome!
