The University of Stavanger and IRIS had a joint stand at the Clean Energy Park at this year's ONS. The two centres working with increased oil recovery, DrillWell and The National IOR Centre of Norway, were presented under the slogan "joining forces". At the stand visitors could try their luck at finding leftover oil, represented by a gold coin.
The Director of the National IOR Centre of Norway, Merete Vadla Madland, says she is very pleased with this year's ONS.
"I didn't get the chance to spend too much time at the stand, but from what I could tell it was a great success," she says.
Madland represented The National IOR Centre of Norway several times during ONS, and presented their work on IOR at a session at the Centre Court.
"I was very honored to speak at the Centre Court, and it was very exciting to show off the centre at ONS," she continues.
The theme for this year's ONS was "changes", and a total of 91 682 visitors led to record high participation.
