The CIAM HUB - Operations and Maintenance is on its 3rd work session on the 'Next Generation Maintenance Management' using the baseline study for maintenance management developed by Petroleum Safety Authority (PSA) in 1998.

Human Capital HUB meeting on the 7th of september
The HUB meeting was in UiS between 0900-1230 with the theme,"Proactive and Systematic Human capital model for Business decisions". The group work session, which began September last year, is the 4th for the HUB.
WCEAM 2017 in Brisbane
The 12th World Congress in Engineering Asset Management (WCEAM) was held in Brisbane, 2nd to 4th of August and had the theme "Asset Intelligence through Integration and Interoperability: From Research to Industry”.
Prestigious prize for Professor Bratvold
A prestigious prize has been awarded to Reidar Bratvold for his research in investment and decision analysis. Bratvold is a Professor at the Department of Petroleum at UIS and is one of the academic leads in CIAM.
EPIC approved - International student projects between academia and industry
The Erasmus+ Strategic Partnership Project Application - named EPIC (Improving Employability through Student Projects, Internationalisation and Collaboration) has received funding. Professor Jan Frick, a Board member of CIAM, will be the contact person at UIS.
CIAM is a University-Industry collaborative competence cluster within Industrial Asset Management.
It is also a knowledge-based cluster for experience sharing, learning, education, and research & development based in the Rogaland region, the Oil capital of Norway.
