IOR NORWAY 2017 in collaboration with EAGE - The 19th European Symposium on Improved Oil Recovery
IOR NORWAY 2017 / The 19th European Symposium on Improved Oil Recovery will be held from 24-27 April 2017 in Stavanger, Norway. This will be jointly hosted by EAGE and The National IOR Centre of Norway, combining the top two European IOR conferences into one meeting.
The Energy Year 2017: Oil - an industry in change
The oil industry is changing, for better and for worse. This was the topic for the meeting arranged by Næringsforeningen on February 1st. Centre Director Merete Vadla Madland was one of the members of the resource group arranging the meeting.
Learning to communicate from the stage
On January 26th all PhD students and postdocs in The Centre were invited to participate in the first of several workshops on the topic of dissemination and communication from the stage.
Presenting for the industry
”We believe that IOR Centre of Norway is in the right road with industry’s expectations and it can provide significant results and input into the improved oil recovery in Norwegian fields,” says Siroos Salimi, from Eni. He was one of the participants at Eni Norge Reservoir Seminar 20th of January 2017, where PhD student Oddbjørn Nødland from The National IOR Centre of Norway and postdoc Amelie Neuville from UiO were invited to present.
For April 2017, The National IOR Centre of Norway and EAGE have decided to join forces and jointly organize the 19th edition of the European Symposium on Improved Oil Recovery.
