The MSc programme prepares students for careers in the international oil and gas industry. This programme also provides an excellent basis for doctoral studies for those who wish to pursue a career in education or research.

Entry:
The admission requirements for the MSc programme in Petroleum Engineering are a bachelor's degree in Petroleum Engineering, or equivalent and an English proficiency test. What we consider equivalent is a closely related engineering field (like Mechanical Engineering, Chemical Engineering and Geological Engineering) and relevant work experience from the field of Petroleum Engineering. Bachelor´s Degrees in closely related fields will only get prioritized when holding exceptional high level of grades.
Please note that applicants who have completed or are in the process of completing a MSc degree will not be considered for a scholarship. The faculty's policy is to not offer financial support to or to prioritize admission to students under this category.
