Please note that most evaluations are not altered after appealing, so that you should have a very good reason to appeal. You can file a complaint using the following Complaint Form. Please be accurate and fair in your comments.
The Complaint Form has to be scanned and mailed to admissions@uis.no together with the copy of your Questback confirmation (read: copy of the electronic application form), your reference number (8 or 9-digit-number starting usually with 2012….) and detailed reasons on which your claim rests. You can also fax the documents to: 0047 51831042.
Please note that we will not process any complaints not filed according to our requirements. The deadline to file a complaint is 3 weeks from the date of the email you received from the International Admissions Office.
Procedure:
• print out the form and fill it in by hand
• scan it and mail it to us (admissions@uis.no) with your handwritten signature and a copy of your Questback form. You can also fax all the documents to 0047 51831042.
Incomplete complaints/appeals not written on the Complaint Form will not be accepted.
All appeals will be evaluated by the International Admissions Office. If we find that formal errors have been made, we will re-evaluate your electronic application. In case the negative decision is maintained by us, the applicant can uphold the complaint. In this instance the Complaint Form will automatically be forwarded to the Appeals Committee at the University of Stavanger. The decision of the Appeals Committee is final and it cannot be appealed.
