International Student Orientation Days

All new international students are required to attend Orientation Week.

Autumn 2012

The Orientation Week is mandatory for all newcomers and consists of sessions concerning both academic and practical issues (registration, exams, and tutorials) as well as social events, information about the town, region, health system, residence permit, etc. Orientation Week has been designed to help international students settle into academic life in Stavanger. The Orientation Week will take place in week 32 (07-12.08.2012). Details concerning this event will be published here in early Summer 2012.

New students are advised to arrive in Stavanger between 04-06.08.2012. Non-European students should arrive during the weekend (04-05.08.) in order to fullfil certain formalities on Monday. EU-students can choose whether they prefer to arrive during the weekend or on Monday 06.08.

We will provide pick-up service for new international students during the Arrival Days (04.-06.08.2012) from 9am - 9pm. The registration form for the pick-up service will be published later.
