Applied science – bachelor’s degree programme

The bachelor’s degree in applied science is a three-year professional course with the overall aim of educating engineers who combine theoretical and technical knowledge with practical skills, and who take conscious responsibility for the interaction between technology, the environment, the individual and society.

This course offers a “basic package” in physics and applied mathematics, combined with an introduction to a technological subject.

The engineering component is selected from one of the following subject tracks: petroleum technology, mechanical/materials technology or electrical/computer technology.

Choice of track is made after the start of the course in the second semester. The course has been designed in accordance with the framework plan adopted by the ministry.
