Chemistry and Environment – bachelor’s degree programme

The bachelor’s degree in chemistry is a three-year engineering programme (180 ECTS) with the overall aim of educating engineers who have the theoretical and technical knowledge to pursue independent work, and who take responsibility for the interaction between technology, the environment and society.

The course is research-based, is pitched academically at a high international level, and provides a basis for lifelong learning. The line of study is environmental biotechnology.

Core subjects for all engineering students are mathematics, physics and computing. As a chemical line of study, the programme naturally offers a number of courses which provide students with a good grounding in chemistry.

The university offers courses in biotechnology and environmental technology which provide forward-looking expertise in environmental biotechnology.
