Dagmar Kasüschke is a full professor of early childhood education at the University of Education Schwäbisch Gmünd in Germany. Her research areas are cultual and gender studies, history, pedagogy and didactics in early childhood institutions.
Cultures, Migration, Society and rules of human cohabitation are increasing to the most important challenges of democratic community life. The following contribution is based on a sociological approach, which analysis culture as a process of negotiation of meanings in interactional settings. In this case the researcher assumes that exclusion and inclusion will be performed in micro-social processes in everyday life situations in preschools and daycare centers and they are often not reflected. These daily situations are the basis of the development of cultural rules and traditions, which create the co-existence of the next generations.
