11.00 - 12.00 Aat Vos Award winning Dutch architect, internationally recognized for developing various library concepts. He will talk about the project the Data Lab at UiS, and about some of his other projects and commissions which have impacted on the learning environment, creativity and health.
Damian Williams, Owner of ArtisanTech AS, builder of the amazing Data Lab, talks about how he and his team work creatively on a project, why he makes these creative spaces, and the thoughts behind them.
12.00 - 12.30 Lunch and a walk through the Data Lab
12.30 - 13.30 About the physical spaces and their importance for creativity, health and well-being.
Why should the library invest in the shaping of physical spaces? What do we get in return? How can we better adapt for creativity and innovation at UiS?

13.45 – 15.15 Workshop in small groups.
The groups will come up with ideas and for how, and in what areas, we can develop the learning environement at UiS wtih regards to the physical spaces and their design. The ideas will be submitted to the working group of Læringsmiljøutvalget at UiS.
