The research team worked with 6 schools to find ways to become more inclusive in a context of high-stakes testing and school choice. The presentation will highlight that ethical leadership of all members of the school community was required to support schools to be effective for all children and young people.
Professor Carrington has an international reputation in inclusive education and disability and experience in leading and contributing to a range of competitive national/ international research grants and development projects. Suzanne was seconded 2002-2004 to establish the Staff College, Inclusive Education in the Department of Education, QLD, Australia. As Director, she led professional learning of QLD education staff to support the development of inclusion.
