Further opening of UiS next week

Starting next week, even more students and staff will be allowed to enter UiS’ campuses.

This is in keeping with the Government’s plan for reopening the Norwegian society and easing coronavirus restrictions presented yesterday.

Since the end of April students within certain study programmes who need access in order to complete their degrees this spring, have been allowed to enter the premises of universities and university colleges in Norway. This arrangement is now expanded to include all students who are dependent on access to maintain progression in their studies.

Remote teaching will be continued and exams will still be carried out as home exams.

More information on the implications of these new guidelines for staff and students at UiS will follow next week.
