Pågående forskning

My research project:
Delivery of therapeutics accross the blood-brain barrier is challanging due to high selectivity of the barrier. My objective is to establish a trafficing system based on exosomes to enable treatment of brain disease, specifically intractable epilepsy.
Methods applied in the research project are: Chromatography, confocal microscopy, mass spectrometry, isolation of primary cells, a blood-brain barrier model and an in vivo mouse model.

Prof Dr Lutz Eichackers research project:
My focus in this project is to contribute to the characterization of the light-harvestig like protein 3 (LIL3). Protein-preotein interactions between the enzymes chlorophyll synthase, protochlorophyllide oxidoreductase and geranylgeranyl reductase and the protein LIL3 has been analyzed in detail. In addition a great effort has been put in to characterize pigment binding to LIL3.
Methods I have applied in the research project are: Cloning, protein purification, microscale thermophoresis, surface plasmon resonance, reconstitution assays, free flow electrophoresis and nanoDSF.

Prof. Dr. Anders Goksøyrs research project:
My recent participation in this project was the finalization of the 2018 publication in toxocological sciences where some of my findings during my master thesis work was published.
