Learning outcome

After completing the course, the student will be able to:
  • describe and reflect upon difficult scientific perspectives and methods related to nursing
  • examine and assess critically scientific nursing research findings and their significance for nursing and practice
  • determine a research question, search, assess and use relevant sources and research methods, analyse data material and discuss the results

Contents

This topic provides the student with an opportunity to study an area of nursing that is of individual interest. The emphasis is on further development of research, analytical skills, the ability to assimilate a substantial body of materials and develop a well-formulated argument.
The student has to analyse current literature critically and do research on the chosen topic.
