Music Conference in Stavanger
From Thursday 7 May to Friday 8 May The Assembly of Nordic Academies (ANMA) will host a music conference at the Faculty of Performing Arts, University of Stavanger.
Through collaboration ANMA promotes high standards in higher music education within the Nordic and Baltic countries. The Nordic and Baltic academies, colleges and schools of higher education in music are members of the association.
ANMA provides a forum for consideration of common issues concerning higher education in music and provides a coordinating body for Nordic/Baltic cooperation projects. In connection to the annual meetings of the ANMA council, ANMA arranges conferences to maintain the association as a vital forum for further development of higher education in music.
Currently Uniarts Helsinki Sibelius Academy has the secretariat of ANMA with vice dean Markus Utrio as elected chairperson.
