Chamber music in Stavanger Cathedral
On Thursday 18 September at 7.30pm there will be a chamber concert at Stavanger Cathedral as part of the Bjergsted Brass Festival 2025.
Performers include the brass ensemble from the music program at Vågen Upper Secondary School, conducted by Ingemar Roos, and Connaught Brass.
The Bjergsted Brass Festival is an annual festival for brass musicians held in Bjergsted, Stavanger. The festival is organized by the Bjergsted Trombone Guild and the Faculty of Performing Arts, University of Stavanger, in collaboration with Stavanger School of Music and Performing Arts, Young Talents Bjergsted, the brass ensemble from Stavanger Cathedral School, the brass ensemble from Vågen Upper Secondary School, the Stavanger Symphony Orchestra, and the Norwegian Band Federation, Rogaland Division.
