The concert features performances by brass ensembles from the festival’s higher education course, the internationally acclaimed ensemble tenThing, euphonium virtuoso Bente Illevold, pianist Ida Mo Schanche, the dynamic British group Connaught Brass and one of the world’s leading trumpet soloists, the legendary Håkan Hardenberger.

The Bjergsted Brass Festival is an annual celebration of brass music, held in Stavanger’s vibrant Bjergsted district. It is organized by the Bjergsted Trombone Guild and the Faculty of Performing Arts at the University of Stavanger, in collaboration with local and national music institutions.
