In collaboration with Museum Stavanger, we welcome you to a chamber music concert at Ledaal in Eiganes.
Ledaal was built as a country estate for the wealthy Stavanger family Kielland in the years 1799-1803. The builder was Gabriel Schanche Kielland, the owner of one of the country's largest trading houses.
Ledaal was originally used as a summer home and country estate, but eventually became the family's year-round residence. The house is in neoclassical architecture, with Danish models. The interior largely reflects the neoclassical ideals of the time, inspired by the style of antiquity.
