Heartwarming concert in St. Petri Church

After a year of anniversary celebrations for all ages, the jubilee year Stavanger 2025 concludes with the spectacular event Into the Future on Friday, 12 December.
On this day, the focus turns to the future, with Ullandhaug as the centrepiece. Once every hour, for twelve hours, the Ullandhaug Tower will shine towards a location in the region. At each location, a unique gift for the future will be unveiled. These gifts, created by pupils and students, are based on the subjects they specialise in at school and university, and can range from an artistic experience to innovative solutions for tomorrow’s challenges.
At 6pm that Friday, the light will turn towards St. Petri Church. This marks the moment for the University of Stavanger’s gift to the future: the traditional Christmas concert. Organised by the Faculty of Performing Arts in Bjergsted Cultural Park, the concert is free of charge and everyone is warmly welcome. It is usually very popular, so we recommend arriving early.
