Flor is a young, exploratory jazz band from Stavanger, brought to the forefront by composer and bandleader Marie Kvale Vikingstad.
When they take to the stage in Grottene at Folken on 6 February, they invite the audience into Vikingstad’s own reflections on relationships, society, and the peculiar project we call growing up.
The band consists of Marie Kvale Vikingstad (vocals and electronics), Torbjørn Säll (piano, synth, and electronics), Jonas Nes (electric guitar, Bass VI, and pedal steel), and Eirik Jarl Gjølme (drums).
