Welcome to the conference on Educational Process Data. The gathering is a workshop for methodological and applied researchers within the field of education..
September 25–26, 2025
Sign up to join the conference before august 15th, 2025.
Njål Foldnes, The Norwegian Reading Centre.
University of Stavanger
The conference explores how process data from digital educational environments - especially timestamped log data from reading apps and digital assessments - can be harnessed to better understand students' learning processes, detect learning difficulties early, and support personalized education. We aim to bring together researchers from statistics, psychometrics, learning sciences, and AI/ML to discuss: - Theoretical frameworks for interpreting process data. - Statistical and machine learning methods suited to high-frequency, longitudinal, behavioural data. - Case studies of using app data to detect reading difficulties or predict learning outcomes. - Methodological challenges: data quality, inference, generalizability, and ethics.
- Educational data scientists and statisticians - Cognitive and educational psychologists - Learning analytics and AI in education researchers - Developers of educational technologies and digital assessments
