Unvaccinated students must go into quarantine if defined as a close contact. Unlike primary and higher secondary school pupils, students cannot undergo a rapid antigen-based test to avoid quarantine.
Students who participated in enrolment week festival "Fadder" events where virus infections were detected are offered screening by appointment. But this does not exempt them from quarantine if unvaccinated.
- Fully vaccinated students without symptoms should not be quarantined.
- Students who have had one jab of vaccine more than three weeks ago should take a test between day 3 and 7 after exposure but should not go into quarantine.
- Everyone with symptoms regardless of vaccine status should book a PCR test from the municipality and stay isolated until they have received their test results.
