Interested in trying out business studies? Now you can take a one-year program in business and management at the University of Stavanger!
Why choose a one-year program in Business and Management?
1. Get a taste of business studies
Considering business studies but not entirely sure yet? With a one-year program in business and management, you can test if it's right for you. After completing the year, you will have finished an education.
2. Recognized as the first year of a bachelor's degree in economics and administration
If the one-year program leaves you wanting to continue with business studies, you can apply for a bachelor's degree in economics and administration. You can get the one-year program recognized as the first year of the bachelor's degree. Thus, you will have already completed the first year and will start directly in the second year.
3. A valuable supplement to almost all educational programs and jobs
However, should you decide to take a different path after this year, a one-year program in business and management will be a great addition to almost any education and an advantage in most jobs.
4. Already employed? Expand your expertise!
The one-year program is also relevant for those who already have an education or are currently working but wish to expand their expertise with business and management.
What will you learn?
When you study business and management, you learn, among other things:
- How businesses start, grow, and adapt to changes
- How to create financial statements
- How to use mathematics and statistics to analyze data
- How businesses can work ethically and sustainably
- How consumers and producers make decisions
- How new technology and politics affect businesses
What opportunities do you have next?"
Further studies at the bachelor's and master's levels
You can apply to the bachelor's program in economics and administration and then pursue a master's degree that grants you the title of 'siviløkonom'.
