Clean-up of plastic discharges in rivers

Julie Holter Heggdal og Sondre Løcka, graduate students at UiS Business School, have participated in an EU and Erasmus+ funded project and sumitted a master's thesis related to reducing plastic emissions in rivers in Brazil.

UNs Sustainable Development Goals

The students have participated in the EU funded Erasmus+ project EPIC (Improving Emplyability through Internatinalization and Collaboration), but in addtion the thesis they have written, has also been part of the UNs Global Students Sustaineble Development Goal Challenge (SDG) where students from different universities and countries look into solutions and products that can be part of the UN's sustainability goals by 2030.

In this project, the master's students in Business and Administration - MSc in Economics, from the UiS Business School have collaborated with engineering students from Aalborg University in Denmark, Saxion University of Applied Science in the Netherlands and the University of Brasilia.
