Vilkår for å gå opp til eksamen/vurdering

Compulsory course requirements are formulated in the Learning Agreement, which details the program of studies to be followed at the host institution.

Method of work

The student follows a program of studies at a host institution, either by entering an existing program or following a program specifically designed for the individual student(s). The Learning Agreement may also include individual work depending on the program at the host institution / own application.

It is also possible for UiS students who travel abroad to construct the content of a stay abroad that is not based on an existing institutional cooperation. Such an arrangement must be approved by the department management and funded by the individual student.

Incoming exchange students are assigned a supervisor at UiS, who follows up their studies during their stay. It is desirable that students from UiS who travel abroad are assigned a supervisor at their host institution.

Emneevaluering

The faculty decides whether early dialogue will be held in all courses or in selected groups of courses. The aim is to collect student feedback for improvements during the semester. In addition, a digital course evaluation must be conducted at least every three years to gather students’ experiences.
