The subject is largely based on interaction and guidance in ensembles.

  • Develop prerequisites for leading ensembles and instructing musical interaction at different levels

Required prerequisite knowledge

Bachelor in music performance or equivalent.

A final exam concert, where the student must perform music with a total playing time of approx. 30 minutes.

Coursework requirements

Four documented hours with instructor
100% compulsory attendance at classes and compulsory participation in projects and concerts. In order to take the exam in the subject, the student must have approved all mandatory work requirements. Reference is made to the faculty's "Attendance requirements", which follow UiS's examination regulations.
