University of Stavanger and Federal University of Rio de Janeiro invites Master students from University of Stavanger and NMBU to apply for the Summer school in Stavanger.

Learning outcomes:
  • What is the One Health concept? Human, animal, plant and environmental health by focusing on the interaction between the disciplines and effect on the total environment.
  • How the health of people, animals and environments are connected.
  • Biodiversity: conservation and management, and its economic value.
  • Methodological approaches: from molecules to societies.
  • The use of statistical tools.
  • Legal aspects, protection, biodiversity law and enabling the use of biodiversity.

Funding:

Scholarships are available for Master students, which will cover all costs related to the school attendance, including meals.

Send a short application letter, a reference letter and your CV (all in English) to NorBra@uis.no by 6. April 2022.

Students from UiS will be enrolled in BIO700.
