Become a teaching assistant at the Faculty of Health Sciences

The Master programme in Prehospital Critical care is looking for motivated students who want to combine their studies with a job for the academic year 2021-22.

The positions are a rare opportunity to get a professionally relevant part-time job, which can be an important contribution to your CV.

Qualifications and responsibilities 

Applicants should be approachable, helpful, and familiar with the course content and assignments, and must have a sufficient level of English language proficiency. 

Normally, a teaching assistant must be at least one year ahead of the students he/she is mentoring. Applicants must have passed the courses they are assisting in with the grade C or better, and otherwise have the necessary qualifications, to be considered for the position.  

The main responsibility for teaching assistants will be to offer students guidance in academic writing. Prior to the assignments, the teaching assistants should have reviewed the relevant topics they are to assist in (i.e., be familiar with the lectures and read through the syllabus).

Salary

Teaching assistants are paid in accordance with the State Salary Scale, salary grade 24/34 depending on completed education.
