Welcome!
The Norwegian Viola Society in collaboration with the University in Stavanger invites violists at all ages from young players, students and professionals in their early stage to a weekend with master classes, lessons and viola ensemble with Ellen Nisbeth, faculty member at the Stavanger University and Royal College of Music in Stockholm, lessons and ensemble with violists and viola teachers from Stavanger Kulturskole, James Herstatt, Cecilia Johansson and Beatrice Bjørnsen.
No course fee!

- Playing the Viola, introduction for young violinists
- Master class and individual lessons with Ellen Nisbeth
- Viola technique workshop with Ellen Nisbeth, James Herstatt, Cecilia Johansson and Beatrice Bjørnsen
- Group lessons, master classes and individual lessons with James Herstatt, Cecilia Johansson and Beatrice Bjørnsen
- Viola ensembles
- Informal evening concert
Sunday 2 October
