Introduction to Asset Performance Forecasting

Thursday 25 April 2024 09:00-16:00,
Kjølv Egelands hus, UiS Ullandhaug Campus,
C-285 (Asset Lab).

An Introduction to Asset Performance Forecasting using MAROS software for RAM Analysis. The seminar i co-hostet by DNV and UiS.

Published Updated on

Join David Lorkin and Remi Alao from DNV Digital Solutions for an overview of RAM Reliability, Availability and Maintainability) Analysis in conjunction with the state-of-the-art MAROS simulation software. MAROS enables RAM techniques to be applied to managing the performance of assets from design through to operations. It can assist in maximising system performance, optimising CAPEX and managing risks.

It can assist in maximising system performance, optimising CAPEX and managing risks.

  • Use life-cycle simulations to analyse the dynamics between equipment reliability, system configuration, maintenance and operations
  • Identify events or assets that contribute to performance gaps and production losses (“bad actors”)
  • Assess future potential production and performance risks
  • Compare alternative scenarios quantitatively to support business decision-making

This session will cover an introduction to the prediction of asset performance using RAM, as well as training and practical modelling exercises using the software.

Learn how to use the power of RAM studies to make informed and effective decisions around asset management, leading to safer and more efficient operations!

  • Time: 25th April, 9:00-16:00
  • Place: UiS, KE C-285 (Asset Lab)
  • Capacity: 25 participants.
