Writing a paper and unsure of what it takes to write a good academic text? Stavanger University Library can teach you how to create a good research statement, how to structure your paper, how to avoid plagiarism and how you can express your argument in a way that engages the reader.

At this workshop we will go through many usefull parts that is needed to writte a good paper. We will talk about how to state your arguments in an engaging way, coming up with a good research question and what expectations you need to meet when writing an academic text.

Target audience: students at UiS who are writing a smaller paper like a home exam, semester paper or a work requirement.

What is an academic text? Writing you bachelor or master thesis and unsure of what it takes to write a good thesis? This workshop will take you through how to create a good research statement, how to structure your thesis, and how to present your arguments and cite your sources.
