Book study space
From Monday May 10 the new opening hours will be in place in TimeEdit, allowing you to book a study space until closing time at 10 pm.
We are available to help with lending questions, searching for books and other library questions. The library hopes that the new opening hours will help during the exam period.
Guidance from the Study Lab
From Monday May 10 student mentors from the Study Lab will give guidance in academic writing. The student mentors are available to give drop in guidance on Mondays and Wednesdays from 4 pm to 8 pm.
Drop by if you are working on your exam or writing a paper.
Remember you student card!
The doors at UiS automatically closes in the evening, so after 8 pm you will need a UiS key card to enter. Your UiS student or staff card works as a key card.
The library is closed on national holidays. You can find more information about which days this applies to, as well as the opening hours for all our libraries here.
Remember to always adhere to the local and national infection prevention guidelines. You can find updated information about our opening hours and our infection prevention guidelines here: uis.no/en/library
