Summer at the Iron Age Farm
The Iron Age Farm at Ullandhaug is a reconstructed farmstead from the Migration Period, around AD 350–550. The farm is located at the top of Ullandhaug, about 3 km from Stavanger city center, with a magnificent view over Nord-Jæren and Hafrsfjord. It is the only site of its kind in Norway and has been rebuilt on the remains of an original farm from the Migration Period. The three houses are furnished with period equipment and household items, and there are live fires burning on the original hearths.
At the Iron Age Farm, you can experience life in the early Iron Age and see how people lived in this region 1,500 years ago. It’s a unique and exciting experience for the whole family!
