Bio

Christian Jensen is a professor of economics at the UiS Business School. His research interests are mainly within macroeconomics, especially monetary policy, but also other dynamic policy problems, economic growth and e-commerce. This research has been financed by both the NSF and the RCN, and published in the Journal of Money, Credit, and Banking, International Journal of Central Banking, Macroeconomic Dynamics and International Journal of Human-Computer Studies, among other academic journals. He holds a PhD in economics from Carnegie Mellon University, and has taught at Southern Methodist University and the Moore School of Business at the University of South Carolina. He has taught macro- and monetary economics at the bachelor, master and doctoral levels regularly for more than 18 years, including recursive dynamic programming and other dynamic methods for PhDs.
